Geoff Hayward is a Lecturer in Educational Studies at the University of Oxford , Associated Director of the ESRC Research Centre on Skills, Knowledge and Organisational Performance (SKOPE), and a Director of the Nuffield Foundation's Review of 14 - 19 Education and Training. Originally a research scientist, Geoff trained to be a Further Education lecturer and subsequently worked with Primary School Teachers in Liverpool . He has worked at the Department of Educational Studies for the last twelve years as both a teacher trainer and now as a full time researcher. His main interests are in vocational and professional learning (both in colleges and the workplace), and education and training policy. Geoff
