A legal secretary and a fee earner from Lodders Solicitors together with a school bursar have been presented with special awards by Tony Baldry MP, to celebrate their commitment and success to their legal studies.

Pam Harmer, Cheryl Brudenell and Tina Tunnicliffe pictured above have been jointly awarded ILEX Law Student of the Year at OCVC’s Banbury campus. Law lecturer and Solicitor Nicola Goodman said “the raw determination of these three students has seen them achieve excellent results and they are a credit to this college. None of them has missed a lecture in two years and one of them even celebrated her 50th birthday in class. Indeed, they all willingly attended lessons when England played during the World Cup last year, on condition that they were allowed to wear their England shirts!”

The annual event, which is sponsored by Spratt Endicott Solicitors, rewards law students who have made outstanding contributions to their legal studies and personal progress.
